A5 and M54 delays as two-car crash shuts road
A busy stretch of the A5 was closed this afternoon after a two-car crash.

Drivers heading east faced major tailbacks as the carriageway between Preston Island, Shrewsbury, and Junction 7 of the M54 at Wellington was shut .
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 2pm.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Wellington and Shrewsbury, and confirmed two cars were involved but no one was trapped.
The road was back open at around 3pm.
