Five weeks of M6 closures announced
Five weeks of overnight closures were today announced on the M6 for resurfacing and road improvements, leading to warnings of disruption for drivers.

Closures will be in place between junction 10 at Walsall and 11 at Cheslyn Hay during the work.
The northbound carriageway will be closed from February 10-26 between midnight and 7am.
The southbound side will be shut from February 27 to March 12, from 11pm to 7am.
Highways Agency project manager Purnima Kaul said: "The work will improve the road surface and provide a smoother ride for road users. We will also renew road markings."
