Delays after three-vehicle crash on M6
Motorists travelling on the M6 faced delays of up to a quarter of an hour after a collision between two lorries and a van.
Emergency services were called to reports of an accident on the southbound carriageway, between junction eight, for the M5 interchange and junction seven for Great Barr, at around 1.05pm today.
When they arrived they found two lorries and a van had been involved in an accident and were blocking the second and third lane to all traffic.
The driver of one of the lorries was treated at the scene for minor injuries by ambulance crews, but refused to go to hospital for a routine assessment.
All other drivers were also checked but found to be uninjured.
Lanes two and three were closed while they are cleared of debris and vehicles.
