M6 lanes closed as trailer overturns
Two lanes of the M6 were closed after a trailer overturned today, causing delays of almost an hour.

It happened on the southbound carriageway between junction 7 at Great Barr and junction six at the Aston Expressway at around 11.10am.
The trailer was being towed by a 4x4 and lanes one and two, in the roadworks area, had to be shut for recovery work.
There were tailbacks up to junction 10 at Walsall as drivers faced delays of around 50 minutes. It was due to return to normal by mid-afternoon.
