Motorists to face Oldbury roadworks delays
Motorists were today facing lengthy delays in Oldbury as roadworks lasting 20 weeks were getting under way.

Dudley Road and part of Dudley Road East will become one-way, in the Oldbury direction, while essential safety work to strengthen the 170-year-old Brades Hall Canal Bridge in the town.
The canal bridge, which carries Dudley Road East over the Birmingham Canal, is thought to date from the 1830s.
Councillor Maria Crompton, the council's cabinet member for highways and environment, said they had planned the work to start in the holidays to reduce disruption.
