You can now build your own steering wheel with Nintendo Labo’s Vehicle Kit
Drive, fly and dive with the latest DIY cardboard kit for the Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo is releasing a brand new Labo kit for the Switch that lets players get in the driver’s seat of a car, a submarine or a plane.
The Vehicle Kit is the first that allows players to construct their own steering wheel and pedal parts for customisable cardboard creations known as Toy-Con.
The Switch controllers act as keys which slot into various parts of the new kit, transforming it into a different vehicle on screen.
As with all Labo kits, users have to build the vehicle parts themselves from the pack – no glue, tape or scissors are required.
Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit is the first new Labo kit since the Switch accessory launched in April.
“Our goal is to put smiles on the faces of everyone Nintendo touches,” said Nintendo Europe’s president Stephan Bole.
“We hope that the new Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit, which allows players to build three different vehicles and play with them together, will introduce totally new players to the unique combination of making, playing, and discovering.”
Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit goes on sale from September 14.
UK pricing is yet to be announced, but it will retail in the US for $69.99 (£53).
