The Farmhouse dates back at least 200 years

The Georgian property, in Otherton Hall Farm, near the hamlet of Otherton, near Penkridge, will have a guide price of £395,000 in the online-only, live-streamed Bond Wolfe auction on October 28.

The farmhouse is thought to be at least 200-years-old and is currently a detached house ranging over four floors, including the attic, with an additional basement.

As it stands, the property needs refurbishment throughout, but it benefits from planning permission to be sub-divided into two homes – one a five-bedroom house with a one-bedroomed annex, the other a six-bedroomed house.

Colin Totney, land and development surveyor at Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “This is a truly stunning property, which has a lot of history.

“This could make an exciting project for a bespoke developer to create two substantial and characterful dwellings and we expect a lot of interest and competitive bidding on the day.

“This is a rare opportunity to acquire an large property with heaps of character that could provide two outstanding homes.”

The freehold property is one of 212 lots to be offered on October 28, in what will be the fourth online auction held by Bond Wolfe Auctions since Covid-19 restrictions were introduced in March.
