The auction held by Bond Wolfe Auctions on September 16 will feature 214 lots and for many house-hunters, the chance of a bargain-priced home will provide the major attraction.

But there is also a chance to snap up a former library in Coppice Road, Walsall Wood, which has a guide price of £175,000.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “While some houses have low guide prices because of their need for repairs or renovation, they can provide the perfect opportunity for those working with a limited budget to get on the property ladder.”

A three-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 2 Prosser Street, in Wolverhampton, is among those with a £5,000 guide price.

In Dudley, a three-bedroomed, mid terraced property at 90 Blackacre Road is also listed with the same guide price.

In Walsall, a three-bedroomed, semi-detached house at 7 Arrow Road has a guide price of £10,000.

Other properties on offer range from a former neighbourhood police base in the Bilston to an old library in Walsall.

Mr Bassi added: “We really will be setting new levels of achievement in the UK auctions sector with our sale on September 16, as never before have so many different lots been available for a remote bidding sale. It will offer an unprecedented opportunity for those looking for a property bargain, with access to more than 200 lots online.”

Many of the properties featured in Bond Wolde Auctions’ sale have virtual tours available, and more details are available at www.bondwolfeauctions.com
