Retirement homes plan at former Walsall pub
A former pub in Walsall could be transformed into retirement homes under new plans submitted to the council.

The Park Tavern, in Broadway North, would be transformed into 28 properties if the proposals are given the go-ahead.
Developers McCarthy and Stone say in a statement with the application: "The proposed site is within easy walking distance of local shops and facilities and this will contribute significantly to retail viability providing additional expenditure within the local community, shops and businesses."
There has been a public house on the site for decades.
After it closed, residents had complained off anti-social behaviour at the site.
