Hundreds of Walsall homes given the go-ahead

Hundreds of homes will be built in Walsall after a housing association was given a cash boost from the Government.

More than £3 million has been earmarked to build over 200 properties after Walsall Housing Group secured the cash through a grant.

It will be used for projects across Brownhills, Bloxwich and Blakenall.

And sites in Coalpool, Brownhills and Willenhall are to be developed over the next three years.

Housing bosses said the funding would allow more affordable quality homes to be built in Walsall which will respond to local housing need.
