It looks as though there are still plenty of free tickets available online if you're interested in joining them.
There are lots of seminars and interesting stands for landlords both old and new. If you can get down there – give it a go!
If not then don't despair, there is another property investor show in October - I'll give some more details in a few weeks time.
I have a few snippets of useful information for you this week, some courtesy of the Landlord & Buy-to-Let Magazine.
I read today that nearly half of repossessions on property are due to rental arrears! This is a shocking statistic - it really would be good if we could reduce this figure and get some rent in instead!
Councils are now looking at having no go zones for houses in multiple occupation (HMO) rather than going through planning permission.
This is excellent news for residents that live in highly concentrated areas and also landlords who want to set up HMO's in the not-so-bad areas.
And finally, a little warning about Gumtree – make sure you check out your landlord properly before you send them any money.
Some overseas tenants and distant students are being conned by landlords that claim to be NLA registered, but are not and find that their deposits no longer exist.
My tip this week is about checking out of a property as a tenant - if there was an inventory done at the time you moved in, then you must put the property back to how it was.
Otherwise, don't be surprised if you don't get your full deposit back.
