Home Secretary Suella Braverman wows Sandwell Conservatives with "stopping illegal boats" plans
Home Secretary Suella Braverman MP told excited Sandwell Conservatives about her plans to stop immigrants landing on the shores of the UK in boats.
The cabinet minister met members in Tipton after being invited to West Bromwich West constituency by MP Shaun Bailey.
The MP, who is a Home Office parliamentary private secretary, said: "The Home Secretary in Tipton! It was great to have Suella Braverman in Tipton to meet our amazing members and activists.
"So much positivity in the room as we celebrated our successes and looked to the future!"
The Home Secretary praised local Conservatives for winning Princes End ward in the recent local election.
She tweeted: "Well done to all West Bromwich West supporters, councillors and members for securing some great results locally!"
