Lord Austin 'fed up' of seeing Covid breaches in supermarkets
Lord Austin has hit out at shop staff and customers for failing to wear face masks and follow social distancing rules.
The former Dudley North MP said he had seen people breaching Covid-19 regulations in branches of Sainsbury's and Tesco in London.
He urged supermarket bosses to make sure official guidance is followed or risk the country going into another full scale lockdown.
Lord Austin said: "I’m fed up of seeing shop staff and customers not wearing masks or staying two metres away.

"Don’t blame the government if we go into another lockdown. Wear a mask: It’s not too much to ask!"
A spokesman for Sainsbury's said: "We will follow government guidance and continue with the range of measures we have in place to keep everyone safe in our stores."
