Pat McFadden: There were no winners, but Tories definitely lost it
There were no winners in the General Election, according to newly-returned Wolverhampton South East Labour MP Pat McFadden.
Mr McFadden said the Tories were definite losers and are now in charge of a "fragile" government.
The MP said: "No one won and the Tories definitely lost it.
"Theresa May's decision to call a general election based on a big opinion poll has backfired spectacularly.
The Tory's ran a poor campaign. The whole election was to produce a strong and stable government. Now the government looks a lot less strong and stable – rather fragile – in comparison to before this election was called.
"In the history of the UK, minority governments have never lasted long, so we'll see what happens next."
