Citroen has revealed prices and specifications for its new C3 Aircross SUV.

Prices start at £20,240 for the entry-level car and rise to £25,740 for the top-of-the-line model.

There are two trim levels to choose from with the entry-level Plus coming with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and a reversing camera. The flagship Max boasts front and rear parking sensors, a heated steering wheel and heated front seats.

There is an electric variant that is badged ‘e-C3 Aircross’ which features a 44kWh battery pack and electric motor. Citroen claims this model can travel up to 188 miles between charges and that 100kW DC rapid charging will take the car from 20 to 80 per cent in 26 minutes.

There is a conventional petrol model that features a 1.2-litre three-cylinder unit producing 101bhp. In addition, there’s a regular hybrid which features the same engine as the standard petrol but mated to an electric motor to develop a combined 138bhp.

Citroen will offer the C3 Aircross with a choice of five or seven seats, and the manufacturer says that the car comes with ‘best-in-class’ boot space of 460 litres or 1,600 litres with the rear seats folded.

Order books for the C3 and e-C3 Aircross are open now with deliveries expected to commence in the late spring of this year.
