Premier Edition models benefit from a wealth of standard equipment

The Premier Edition specification boasts extra standard equipment along with a more dynamic exterior look.

Introduced to celebrate the French manufacturer’s sponsorship of Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage, Premier Edition vehicles benefit from black alloy wheels and black or white decals, as well as automatic headlights, front fog lights and cruise control.

All Premier Edition vehicles get Renault’s latest R-Link infotainment setup, which incorporates a full satellite navigation system and also acts as a display for the car’s rear-view camera. A dashcam with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (Adas) that can detect and warn of an impending front-end collision comes as standard, too.

Kangoo Premier Edition vehicles are available with a range of 1.5-litre diesel engines fitted with a five- or six-speed manual gearbox – although a six-speed automatic is also available. Prices start at £23,501.

Renault’s Trafic Premier Edition comes in one of two wheelbase layouts with a 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine. In addition, body-coloured side mouldings and 17-inch black alloy wheels help enhance the look of the van, which starts from £32,321.

Based on the Business+ specification, the Master Premier Edition gets additional equipment such as 16-inch black alloy wheels and metallic paint. A 2.3-litre turbocharged diesel is the sole powertrain, although it’s available in one of two states of tune, with both sending power to the wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox. The Master Premier Edition starts at £41,021.
