Formula 1 fans have the chance to win a dream night’s sleep in the Williams Martini Racing garage.

The overnight stay is scheduled to coincide with the British grand prix this summer, with the team’s garage at the Silverstone motor circuit being transformed into a peaceful bedroom the night before the race, which takes place on July 16.

The Williams F1 team is working with online hospitality service Airbnb to run the competition, which will give two fans a one-night stay in the garage and track-side tickets for the race on Sunday. The lucky winners will also get to meet racing driver Felipe Massa.

The Brazilian said: “For me, the Williams Martini Racing garage has always felt like a home away from home and I can’t wait to welcome the winners at Silverstone this summer.”

To enter, participants must write an “artistic and creative story of 100 words maximum” explaining what they love about racing and why they deserve to win.

The Silverstone grand prix will be the 10th date on the F1 calendar, marking the halfway point in the 2017 season.
