The Venue, based in Dudley high street, opposite Top Church, is hosting a Great Gatsby Ball on October 29.

Money from the night, organised by marketing and events manager Xenna Sowka and her colleague Kash Deo, will bring in cash for Cancer Research UK.

Together they aim to raise £5,000 after both having personal experiences with cancer with close family members.

Along with their resident DJ, Kevin Bingham, there will also be entertainment from trio band 'The Miss Fortunes' and a large auction with amazing prizes including priceless sporting memorabilia.

The tickets will include a hot fork buffet hand picked and prepared by The Venue's team of award winning chefs.

Guests are invited to dress in vintage clothing, think beaded flapper dresses, fringed drop waisted dresses and strings upon strings of pearls, and sharp suits.

Tickets for the Gatsby Ball can be purchased now from The Venue Box Office on 171 – 173 High Street, Dudley, West Midlands, DY1 1QD or by calling 01384 453101.

Tickets are £20 for adults, and £10 for children under 10 and this includes entry and the buffet.
