Urine Watch latest: Busy day as three caught out while caught short in Walsall

Three yobs have been snared in one day as the infamous Twitter account Urine Watch continues to shame public urinators in Walsall.

It comes as the man behind the account, Chris Norton, insisted that with help from the police the problem is dying down in the day.

However he insisted that the night time still poses a problem.

He said: "It is not so much during the day.

"The past few weeks it has just been at night time. It has quieted down during the day definitely.

"Over the weekends there have been quite a few but it is just drinking at night time."

Asked about if the police were making a difference, Mr Norton added: "I think so.

"They have been around a few times recently.

"The council are keeping on top of it too, they are looking at getting some kind of ASBO order put in for the site."

Commenting on whether the decreasing number of public urinators in the day spelled a brighter future for the site, Mr Norton said: "I hope so.

"I am hoping things will continue to improve."

Mr Norton, who runs Norton Podiatry next door, set up the account as he grew increasingly frustrated at the amount of public urination taking place in the vicinity of his workplace.

Urine Watch has been shaming yobs for a couple of months now.

It posts CCTV camera of yobs urinating in a car park of the former M Latif and Sons branch in Bradford Street.

Its past victims includes a National Express bus driver.

Tweeting recently, a caption under the picture above read: "Three in one day for summer #walsallwee".

Other images shared on the day included two women making use of the spot and a man having a nap in front of the now infamous 'Welcome' sign.
