Six charged over Stafford burglary spree
Six people have been charged in connection with a string of burglaries in Stafford.
It follows a spate of shed and garage break-ins which took place between August and October last year.
Blade Burton, aged 19, of Burton Bank Lane, Stafford, was charged with five counts of burglary other than a dwelling.
Ashley Clowes, aged 20, of Princes Street, Stone, faces eight counts of receiving stolen goods.
Ryan Philips, aged 18 years, of Hinton Close, Stafford, was charged with two counts of receiving stolen goods.
Lewis Muncaster, 19, of Sidney Avenue, Stafford, stands accused of receiving stolen goods, and Daniel McCann, 27, of Sycamore Lane, Stafford, has been charged with two counts of receiving stolen goods.
A 15-year-old boy from Stafford, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with one count of receiving stolen goods.
Staffordshire Police made the arrests after recovering stolen goods including bikes and bike parts.
A further two people were arrested but released due to insufficient evidence.
Those charged will appear at Cannock Magistrates Court on Wednesday, June 29.
