Walsall terror trial: Apprentice winner is half sister of ISIS jihadist
Isaiah Siadatan who fled the country to join ISIS is the half-brother of an Apprentice winner it has emerged.
Yasmina Siadatan who won the BBC series fronted by Sir Alan Sugar in 2009 has condemned the actions of her sibling 24-year-old Isaiah Siadatan.
The 34-year-old from Oxfordshire who is now a business consultant declared she had not seen her half brother in five years and only learnt of his terror links as they emerged at the Old Bailey trial last week.
A spokesman on Miss Siadatan's behalf said: "She wishes to make it clear that she condemns these alleged actions and political views in the strongest possible terms."
Isaiah along with Sajid Aslam, 34, of Glebe Street, and Jacob Petty, 26, of Slanley Street successfully travelled to Syria from Walsall during 2014.
It is believed Siadatan and Aslam are currently fighting for ISIS while Petty, the son of a reverend with the Lichfield Diocese, was killed in 2015.
Siadatan's pregnant wife Kerry Thomason, 24 has admitted helping him leave the country after failing in her own bid to make it Syria.
She attempted to board a flight to Turkey, but her and her children's passports were seized by police and she was detained.
Half-sister Yasmina, who was born in Hull and is of British and Iranian descent rose to fame on the fifth season of the Apprentice.
Before that she had set up successful restaurant Myalacarte.
After prevailing in the 2009 Apprentice show she scooped the £100,000 a year job with Lord Sugar's company Amscreen Health Care. But within a few months she went on maternity leave and did not return.
Yasmina also went on to work for former Dragon's Den star James Caan.
Now living in Oxfordshire she makes regular appearances on television and has spoken out on the issue of British residents joining ISIS.
She reportedly shares the same father as Isaiah; 62 year old Medi Siadatan who has married five times.
Her mother is Paula Gabott while her half-brother's is Italian Stephania Loi.
