Hot Fuzz comes to Wolverhampton as swan runs amok
It was something like a slapstick scene from Hot Fuzz as officers from the West Midlands Police response unit were called to help a stranded swan and goose.

The cautious officers were snapped using the age-old 'coat' technique on the swan that had let itself loose on grassland in the Chapel Ash area.
It was reminiscent of actors Nick Frost and Simon Pegg being given the runaround by an evasive swan in the cult film.
Fortunately for the unit, the escaped swan was not as unruly as its counterpart in the 2007 comedy film and the matter was dealt with.
