The former centre-forward has asked people to be generous to help out youngsters this Christmas who aren't quite as lucky as many of us.

Our campaign will look to send a special gift to those children and support a number of good causes including the families affected by the closure of Caparo plants in Darlaston, Dudley and West Bromwich.

While children's wards at Russells Hall in Dudley, Wolverhampton's New Cross and Sandwell General Hospital who will all benefit from your donations too.

Bully said the appeal was brilliant and it was great to be a part of it.

Bully has backed the 'brilliant campaign'

"I think it's a brilliant campaign. I think everyone's toys can benefit children and charities all over the place which is a great thing - and those who does things for charity are very good people.

"We're fortunate, I'm fortunate, you're fortunate - so we can help out people that aren't as lucky as us.

"And if it means me putting a smile on people's facing and shaking hands to get toys then I'll do it.

"To anyone thinking about getting involved with the campaign I would say get on board straight away.

"I would reach out to all the toy stores and say - we've got all these people on board you get on board as well."
