The event runs from 5-9pm in Queen Square on November 25 and will see roads either partially or fully close from midday onwards.

Darlington Street will be closed from the junction of Red Lion Street to North Street, while Queen Square and Lichfield Street will close from the junction of North Street to Princess Street.

From midday until 9pm Dudley Street will close at the junction of King Street and Woolpack Street.

From 6.15-6.45pm there will be further closures due to a firework display. Darlington Street will shut from the junction of Waterloo Road to Victoria Street, with School Street closed from the junction of Salop Street to Darlington Street. Meanwhile, Skinner Street will close from the junction of Victoria Street to School Street, and Victoria Street will close from Cleveland Street to Queen Square.

All bus stops on Lichfield Street will be suspended, with a temporary stop in place on Stafford Street for services 3, 4, 5/5a, 6/6a and 10.

Wolverhampton council is yet to reveal details of who will be performing at the big lights switch on.
