Family firm celebrates 30 years in business
A family-run office equipment firm has marked its 30th anniversary.
Powell Office Style in Rowley Regis hosted an open day to celebrate for its customers, suppliers, business partners and friends.
There was food, drinks, raffle prizes, goodie bags and a host of suppliers showcasing their latest products.
Sophia Powell, managing director, said: "It was a fabulous day and a perfect opportunity for our customers to meet the amazing team here at Powell's.
"We employ local people who have all contributed to the continued success of the business."
In the past 30 years, Powell's has supplied more than £3million worth of furniture to fit out NHS offices, schools and colleges as well as leading local firms
This year alone they have sold enough paper to cover the West Bromwich Albion, Wolves, Walsall, Aston Villa and Birmingham City football pitches combined and enough desks to build a wall around Dudley.
Eighteen people work for Powell's which is based in Station Road and Mrs Powell said the business was going from 'strength to strength'.
