Three evicted from Stafford home
Three people have been evicted from a privately-owned home in Stafford after more than 40 complaints were made against them in six months.
Urinating in the driveway, noise disturbance and rubbish were among the issues raised with police over the antisocial occupants at the property in Rising Brook.
Stafford Borough Council and police were granted a closure order by Cannock Magistrates Court. It was applied for on the grounds of alcohol and drug related crimes, and violent disorder.
PC Hazel Hunt said: "We will not tolerate anti-social behaviour in our communities and this will hopefully improve the quality of life for residents on Rising Brook.
"We thank them for bringing this matter to our attention."
Will Conaghan, spokesman for Stafford Borough Council added: "We received numerous complaints regarding noise and anti-social behaviour from this property.
"We are really pleased that this work has helped facilitate the court order which hopefully will give some relief to those residents whose lives have been blighted by this type of behaviour."
