Smethwick shooting victim 'recovering well'
A man shot in the leg following a row in a Smethwick park is recovering well from his injuries, police have confirmed.

The victim, aged 38, had surgery in hospital for the injuries to his shin after he was shot with a handgun in West Smethwick Park.
Police today said no arrests had been made but inquiries are on-going.
Stunned residents living near the park have spoke of their shock over the incident which happened near the West Park Road entrance to the park at around 7.15pm on Friday.
West Midlands Police believe the man responsible for the attack fled from the scene on a BMX bike and headed in the direction of Smethwick town centre.
Anyone who has information which could help the investigation is asked to call police on 101.
