Spate of thefts in Sandwell prompts police probe
A spate of thefts have taken place at shops and from outside homes in Blackheath prompting a police investigation.

Officers said that 10 thefts had taken place in a single week between April 18 and May 2 around the town.
Offenders targeted stores in Oldbury Road with chocolate bars and razor blades among the goods to be taken. Two thefts took place from shops in Long Lane including a two bottles of aftershave being taken. It is unclear at this stage if the thefts were linked.
