Warning signs, new road marking and pedestrian crossing facilities are being considered along Walsall Road by council highways officers.

There were 11 known accidents on the route in the three years up to October 2014, of which one was classed as being serious.

The project worth £96,000 has been identified by Walsall Council as a priority but is subject to securing the necessary funds.

Almost £60,000 of work is under consideration in West Bromwich Road, Delves, which could see four new traffic islands to help slow down traffic and make the route safer.
