Midland Metro St George's stop to open again
Commuters should finally be able to get a tram into Wolverhampton city centre tomorrow with the long-awaited opening of the St George's stop.

Work to lengthen the platform at the Midland Metro's city centre stop was due to be completed by December. But the discovery of a mine 13ft deep underneath Bilston Road caused the project to drag on for an extra four months. Now the saga appears set to reach its conclusion.
