Driver denies causing death of fellow motorist

A man denied causing the death of a fellow motorist by dangerous driving when he appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

Mr Adam Hancox, aged 26, died when the Ford Ka car he was driving was involved in a collision with a VW Passat on Wolverhampton Road at the junction of Bleakhouse Road, Oldbury on November 23.

Kasim Mohammed, also 26, of Bearwood Road, Smethwick, yesterday pleaded not guilty to causing the death of Mr Hancox by dangerous driving.

Mohammed was remanded in custody until a further hearing of the case scheduled to take place on April 1.
