Go Bananas gear on ebay at £40,000
The owners of a Go Bananas in Burntwood which closed suddenly have put the equipment up for sale on ebay with a £40,000 price tag.
All of the equipment from Go Bananas was listed on the auction site including climbing frames, a Go Kart track with vehicles and a snooker table.
Furious customers are still waiting to receive refunds from Go Bananas - more than a week after it shut without warning.
The centre closed due to a dispute between the owners and the landlord.
Pre-booked parties had to be cancelled at the last minute and the firm in Smiths Close says it is still trying to refund customers who paid deposits.
A full list of the equipment and items up for sale were listed on eBay for just a few hours yesterday. A message on the listed sale said: 'We are looking for a very quick sale.'
No bids were made for the equipment by the time the listing was taken off eBay in the afternoon but potential buyers were advised to message the owners direct.
The latest statement from the firm on its Facebook page on Monday said: "Just had confirmation from the landlord that the building will not be used as a soft play centre again.
"We are now needing to sell all the equipment and furniture before this Friday.
"We are still looking for a buyer.
"All equipment and furniture is open to serious offers as a job lot offer. Please note the unit has to be empty by this Friday."
Angry parents continue to flood the company's Facebook page with messages about the closure and now the news that it is to be sold.
Some have threatened legal action over the failure to refund deposits for parties.
The owners of the soft play centre previously said they would look to relocate the business elsewhere but then they revealed they had chosen to sell up instead.
They said they were in talks with potential buyers but decided to put the equipment up for sale on eBay.
These are just some of the items that have been put up for sale by the owners of a soft play centre that closed suddenly, leaving youngsters in tears.
Bosses at Go Bananas in Burntwood initially said they would look to relocate the business after a dispute with their landlord.
The firm then said talks were being held with people interested in buying all the equipment from the centre.
But now a full list of the equipment with a price tag of £40,000 from inside the centre has appeared on internet auction site eBay, along with a handful of photographs.
The list includes a large climbing frame with slides, Go Kart track with vehicles and a football pitch attached, snooker table and a 30ft bar with a beach style wooden canopy roof.
Also listed is a milkshake maker, dish washer, pots and pans, and even chocolate bars, sweets and packets of sugar.
No bids were made for the items when the listing was removed yesterday and it is unclear whether anyone met the asking price.
The centre's closure last weekend left scores of parents fuming.
Some had paid deposits for parties and are still waiting for refunds.
On the firm's Facebook page, Shane Garbett wrote: "I am still waiting refund and as I know you have stated it will take time if I do not receive my refund by next month then I will be taking legal action against yourself and the business as this is a disgrace.
"I know what has gone on was out of your hands but the contents of the building legally belongs to you so you should of contacted the law to deal with the situation as there is personal bank details within the building which you have a legal responsibility to look after."
Nici Webb said: "It's a very unrealistic time frame for someone to move all equipment and hire a unit."
