Two people taken to hospital after Stourport crash
Two people have been injured in a two-car crash
Emergency services were called in Pearl Lane, in Stourport, at around 8.50pm on Wednesday.
A woman, the driver of one of the vehicles, was treated for potentially serious injuries at the scene, before being rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
While a man, the driver of the second vehicle, was also taken to hospital for injuries not believed to be serious said West Midlands Ambulance Service.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 8:47pm on Wednesday to reports of a two car road traffic collision on Pearl Lane in Stourport. Three ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"Crews treated the drivers of both vehicles. A woman was treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken on blue lights and sirens to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
"The driver of the second car, a man, was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and was also conveyed to Worcestershire Royal.”
A spokesman from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two crews from the Wyre Forest Station were called at 8.50pm on July 8, to a road traffic collision involving two cars in Pearl Lane, Stourport-on-Severn.
"One female casualty was extricated from her vehicle and she and a male casualty, aged approximately 20, were handed over to paramedics who also attended, along with the police."
