Stourport garden nursery engulfed by blaze
Two people were treated for smoke inhalation after a blaze engulfed a garden nursery building.
Crews from Droitwich and Wyre Forest stations were called to the fire at a Blackstone Nurseries building which supplies Cook's Garden centre in Stourport.
Five pumping appliances and a water carrier from Leominster were called to the scene on Bewdley Road North at 3.30pm on Friday, along with ambulance and police crews.
More than 20 crew members were in attendance, with the fire extinguished at around 5pm.
Two employees at Cook's Garden site were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but were released without needing further treatment.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire Control said: "We were alerted to a fire at a commercial glass house on Bewdley Road North at 3.30pm.
"Five pumping appliances from Droitwich and Wyre Forest stations were deployed to the scene, with more than 20 crews, and a water carrier from Leominster.
"The fire has been extinguished and dampening down is currently being done to cover hotspots around the site.
"Two employees were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation by ambulance crews, but were released without needing further treatment."
