Motorcyclist injured in Kidderminster crash

A motorcyclist was treated by paramedics after a crash in Kidderminster during rush hour.

Emergency services were called to the A456 Bewdley Hill, at the junction with Crestwood Avenue, at around 8.10am today.

The crash involved a motorbike and a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

The driver of the car was uninjured, but the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was treated for minor injuries at the scene and discharged by ambulance crew.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival we found a collision between a motorbike and a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

"The Corsa had damage to the rear nearside.

"The motorbike rider, a man in his 30s, was treated for minor injuries at the scene and was discharged by the ambulance crew after an assessment.

"The driver of the car was uninjured."

A West Mercia Police spokesman added: "This was a minor collision, the injured party was treated by ambulance at the scene and made their own way to hospital."
