Flood barriers deployed in Bewdley
Flood barriers have been deployed in Bewdley as parts of the region are preparing themselves for potential flooding due to heavy rainfall.

The barriers were deployed along the River Severn by the Environment Agency area flood risk managers.
They were put in place after days of heavy rainfall – river levels on the Severn have subsequently risen.
Mark Bowers, Environment Agency area flood risk manager & incident lead, was onsite to help with the barriers and tweeted about the work being done.
He said: "Our phase one flood barriers have been deployed at Bewdley and our community liasion officers are out & about.
"If you see one in an EA jacket, say hi, with Covid 2m distance obviously, and they will be able to update you on levels & any impacts."
