Elderly man rescued by firefighters after Bewdley crash
An elderly man had to be rescued by firefighters after a crash in Wyre Forest.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash in Habberley Road, in Bewdley, at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
Firefighters had to rescue an elderly man from his vehicle, by removing the door. It is believed he suffered minor injuries and was left in the care of paramedics.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two crews from Wyre Forest fire station were called at 2.34pm on Tuesday, July 28, to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Habberley Road in Bewdley.
"One elderly male casualty was trapped and released by fire service personnel by removing the door of his vehicle. He was then handed over to paramedics and believed to be suffering from minor injuries.
"Police also attended."
