Rescue effort in hand to release deer trapped in metal fence
A rescue effort is under way in a bid to free a deer stuck in metal railings.
The animal was discovered trapped on lane off Waresley Rod in Hartlebury near Kidderminster shortly before 3.50pm on Saturday.
Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service a crew based at Wyre Forest was in attendance at the scene awaiting a RSPCA representative after being called out at 3.53pm.
