Jazz concert helps push charity closer to fundraising goal
A popular jazz night in Bewdley hit the right note with fans and raised more than £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

The Ad Hoc Jazz Band played to a packed St George’s Hall pushing the charity’s Wyre Forest Fundraising Committee closer to its £1 million goal.
Band leader and drummer Peter Tomlinson, who is also chairman of the fundraising committee, said: “Thanks to all those who helped and supported we raised £1,150, taking us to around £977,000 of our target.”
The next fundraiser will be a Psychic Evening on Monday October 30. Details to follow on the Wyre Forest Cancer Research UK Facebook page.
