Wednesfield FC unveil stand in honour of Carl Ikeme
A football club's stand has been named after Wolves' stricken goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, following his cancer diagnosis.

Wednesfield FC confirmed that it will unveil the new Carl Ikeme Stand ahead of their fixture against Wolverhampton United in the Ron Brown Memorial Cup next week.
In a social media statement, the club said it had been looking to sell naming rights to the stand to raise cash – but chiefs decided support for the 31-year-old keeper was more important.
Support has flooded in for the stopper since his leukaemia diagnosis was revealed earlier this month.
The Wednesfield FC statement said: "We will officially open and re-name our new stand in support of @Carl_Ikeme of @Wolves.
"We'd hoped to sell the naming of the stand to raise funds, however it was felt support of @Carl_Ikeme was worth much much more."
A contest to name the stand last month had suggested the Liam and Cheryl Stand as one of the possible names – in aid of Bushbury's former One Direction heart-throb Liam Payne.
However, in a poll of more than 850 people The Robert Morris End ran out the winner, in honour of the club's former manager.
Wednesfield's game against Wolverhampton United will kick-off at 7.30pm on Wednesday 26th July, and costs £3 - all proceeds will be donated to Cure Leukaemia.
