Major road to Black Country town to close for five months to build a railway station
Major works on a busy Black Country town centre road will cause the route to be closed for five months affecting motorists and bus users.

Pendeford’s history dates back at least to the creation of the Domesday Book. During the Second World War, Pendeford Airfield was an important training base for pilots. Pendeford grew thanks to new housing estates created from the 1970s. Recently it has been linked with the major business development, the i54, which is home to a Jaguar Land Rover plant.
