Two injured as cars go up in flames after Birmingham New Road crash
Two teenage girls were injured when a pair of cars went up in flames after a two-car crash in Bilston.
The injured girls managed to get out of the burning car before paramedics arrived, while two men who had been in the second car ran away from the scene.
A police investigation is underway.
Emergency services raced to the centre of the Birmingham New Road and Black Country Route junction after the crash happened at around 10.30pm last night.
A Peugeot 306 convertible and a Vauxhall Corsa were fully engulfed in fire when crews arrived, and firefighters from Bilston and Dudley quickly worked to battle the blaze.

West Midlands Ambulance Service crews also attended the crash and found all occupants out of their vehicles when they arrived.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "Two teenage girls from one car sustained relatively minor injuries and received treatment on scene before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further checks.
"The occupants of the second vehicle left the scene prior to assessment by ambulance staff."
A West Midlands Police spokesman added: "Police were called by the ambulance service to a collision between two cars that took place on the junction of the A4123 with the Black Country Route at Lanesfield.
"Two men from one of the cars ran away from the scene.
"The occupants of the other car were two women, who were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
"Police investigations are on-going. Anyone with information is asked to contact West Midlands Police on 101 giving log number 2595 of 21 March."
