The City of Wolverhampton Rotary Club's Tree of Remembrance is more popular than ever as scores of people leave poignant messages to those they have lost.
The festive tree was unveiled by Rotary and city officials on November 17, quickly going on to gain over 160 remembrance messages in only one week.
Shoppers and Wolverhampton visitors are invited to leave a heartfelt message on the tree in exchange for a £5 donation, with all proceeds going to charity.
This year's charities are Sponsored Breaks, a local Community Interest Company that recognises people who are most deserving of a free camper van holiday, MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Therapy and Oxygen Centre, Compton Care Hospice Trust and Rotary Club of Wolverhampton Charitable Trust.
So far 168 people have left poignant messages to loved ones, meaning a grand total of around £840 so far.
As well as being displayed on the Rotary Club of Wolverhampton website, the names and messages will also be included in the Express & Star in the run-up to Christmas.
