Appeal after 12-year-old girl struck by car in Wolverhampton hit-and-run
A 12-year-old girl was struck by a car in a Wolverhampton hit-and-run.
Police and emergency services were called to Bridgnorth Road in Compton on Monday afternoon.
Officers said it is understood the girl, aged 12, was on a zebra crossing when she was struck just after 2.15pm.
She was checked by paramedics for injuries which are not believed to be serious, before being taken to New Cross Hospital for further checks.
The car did not remain at the scene.
