Signal failure prevents trams from reaching Wolverhampton city centre
Failed signals prevented trams from running into Wolverhampton city centre and caused delays this morning.
West Midlands Metro said shortly before 10am that there was no service between the Royal and Wolverhampton Station due to failed signals at Pipers Row.
Trams turned at The Royal instead while the issue was addressed.
The signals were working again soon after 10am, with normal service resumed.
