Stephen Bunting and Beau Greaves prepare to take on the public

The Selco Builders Warehouse on Stafford Road in Wolverhampton was the setting for a morning of darts action with Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Women's Matchplay champion Beau Greaves and former Lakeside World Champion Stephen Bunting.

The two players, who are currently involved in the PDC Mr Vegas Grand Slam of Darts at WV Active Aldersley, came to the Selco Warehouse on Monday morning to play members of the public in a series of nine-dart games.

It meant that anyone playing Stephen or Beau would have nine darts to score as high a score as possible, while seeing if they could outscore their professional opponents, who had both played the day before at Aldersley.

The board was set up near the entranceway to the warehouse, with full lights, a oche and an announcer calling out the scores to give those playing a taste of what it was like to play on the big stage, with no pre-booking required and people able to take part as they wished.

There was a good number of people present and plenty of takers to play both Stephen and Beau, who were not taking it easy as they threw treble 20s and scores of 180 and the games came thick and fast.
