Owner of new desi pub hails Express & Star's series as business continues to thrive
A Black Country pub owner has thanked the Express & Star after being featured in its Love your Local series.
Tapri Punjabi Bar & Grill in Gornalwood, Dudley, was a newly-opened pub when it was featured in our regular Love your Local series and, after having a relatively quiet start to life, co-owner Raj Patel has thanked the Express & Star.
He said that being featured has helped the business grow provide coverage.
The Love your Local series was launched amid the cost of living crisis, which has seen pubs across the Black Country and Staffordshire region crippled with soaring energy costs, and cost of supplies.
