Two women taken to hospital after two-car crash in Willenhall
Two people were taken to hospital after a car crash in Willenhall this lunchtime.
Two cars collided on Lichfield Road, the first containing an elderly woman who had serious injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The second contained a female passenger who had non-life-threatening injuries. Two ambulances attended and both patients received treatment from crews before being taken to New Cross Hopsital for further assessment.
The road was closed for over an hour with disruption to the National Express number 9 bus service.
