Probe after 62-year-old pedestrian injured in 'deliberate' hit-and-run on Wolverhampton Road
An investigation is under way after a man was found seriously injured on a Wolverhampton road following a hit-and-run crash.
Police believe the man was "deliberately driven at" and said the driver fled the scene.
Officers confirmed that the road remains closed while officers investigate the full circumstances as the driver of the vehicle left the scene in which a 62-year-old pedestrian was found with serious injuries.
The incident is said to have happened around 8pm on Monday, on Compton Road in Wolverhampton, which remains closed in both directions on Tuesday following the collision around the Clark Road junction.
No arrests have been made and police are seeking information regarding the driver as the investigation continues.
