Road in Wolverhampton closed off due to fire caused by barbecue
A lit barbecue is believed to have caused a fire which caused disruption and damage at a property in the Merridale area of Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Fire sent three engines from Wolverhampton, Fallings Park and Bilston to deal with the fire at the two storey house in Clarendon Street which broke out around 7.20am on Tuesday.
It caused traffic disruption until around 8.25am when the fire was extinguished though crews remain on the scene for damping down purposes.
